Because it is the Year of the Dragon, I went looking online for some dragon ideas for a sculpture project I was planning to do with my grade four classes. I came across a YouTube video of a paper dragon optical illusion. Based on the dragon in the video I created a template for my students to use when creating their own dragons. For some the folding of the dragon was a little tough, but in the end, everyone went home with their new dragon. As long as the dragon is in front of you it looks as if it is following you with not only it’s eyes but it’s head too. Here is a look at the dragons that Mr. Davidson’s class made.
