Shoeper Linocut Prints

My grade five students have been busy learning about linocut prints. They started their project by searching for great shoes on the internet or on their feet. Once they drew their shoe they transferred the drawing to their lino block. Using a gouge, and remembering the safety rules they created a relief carving of the shoe. Soon they were inking up their blocks using brayers and creating some wonderfully inspired prints. Take a look at just some of the work from all of my grade five classes.
